The results from the Finnish Foundations’ Post Doc Pool’s autumn application round
On 3rd December 2019 the Säätiöiden post doc -pooli foundations awarded some 1.41 million euro to 29 post-doctoral scholars. Altogether 141 post-doctoral scholars from around Finland took part in the autumn application round. Thus a grant could be awarded to 20 % of the applicants. The Pool has a role in making Finnish research more international. After twenty application rounds 560 scholars have already received funding through the Pool for a research period abroad.
